Using natural, precious and raw materials, her jewellery is considered as an art form and is loved and admired by men and women all over the world. She captures feelings and expresses opinions through her one of a kind pieces, and is a pioneer for the belief that something does not have to be perfect to be beautiful. Bjorg jewellery is always unpredictable, but always stylish, fashionable and playful. All of the jewellery is hand-crafted, and one main collection is designed and released every year featuring a wide variety of jewels, gems and trinkets including bangles, cuffs, necklaces, chains, pins and earrings to name just a few. Sterling silver is used and gold platings in 18k or 24k gold.
Brightly colored feathers, blue horsehair, a beautiful, vibrant butterfly wing captured and kept forever in a small hand-made glass dome�?the 2011 collection is an expression of the colors and imagery of the Garden Of Eden, a journey from the myths and legends of the past but re-creating them as part of the future, with temptation and the inevitability of decay always luring as a recurring theme. Secret codes are encrypted into the jewellery, for example crystals are hidden in triangle shapes, secret words and messages can be found as embossed types, cut out letters and engraved poetry, and what at first glance appears to be an earthy stone reveals itself as the cross section of a diamond.
