| Sheng Xi Fu (briefly SXF) was open since 1911, which enjoys a high reputation both at home and abroad. The founder of SXF is Liu Xisan whose autonym is Zhan En and courtesy name is Xi San. For making a living, he served in a foreign restaurant and learned some daily English. Then in 1912, he opened Sheng Ju Fu at Gu Yi street with his friends, managing caps. Until 1917, Liu Xisan borrowed money and changed address of his store. Moreover, the name of store was altered from Sheng Ju Fu to Sheng Xi Fu. After that, he opened four branch stores successively. Up to now, every store is a scene of great activity. |
